To be honest I thought the club should have stuck by their original suspension when he was charged until the matter was resolved.
Are they going to keep playing him up to and through the trial?
The Premier League should be having a word behind the scenes for mine.
And yes I know he hasn't been convicted yet.

It's well known in police circles that the majority of rape accusations are false. The girls are given anonymity but the accused boy is not, so it has become an easy way to destroy a young man's life.
But the police are not stupid - they can tell pretty quickly when the girl is lying. They are obliged to take the accusation seriously but in many cases they establish quickly that it's a false accusation and are actually trying to get enough evidence together to arrest the girl for perverting the course of justice.
For it to get to court they must have absolutely solid evidence against Johnson.
The girl was in her mid teens. Johnson should have walked away - there is no excuse for having sex with a schoolgirl when you are 27, none.
Paedophilia is not taken anything like seriously enough in my view.
The Pope and the Catholic church has got away with their crimes unpunished.
The BBC has got away with providing girls as young as 12 to their on-air talent to be raped in the dressing rooms. Nobody has gone to jail for that either.
Even when paedophiles are convicted they get no more than a few years in jail.
If you have any doubt about the scale of men with paedophile tendencies type To Catch a Predator into YouTube and watch the series NBC did on it where they set up a trap and caught hundreds of men - teachers, religious leaders, family men - willing to rape a child because they thought they wouldn't get caught.

Definately. But there needs to be a little perspective with that. As you say it does bring with it visions of a creepy cunt licking his lips at his keyboard but that is not always the case.
